Alors que le pourcentage des entreprises françaises d’au moins dix salariés disposant d’un site Web est de 54% (la moyenne de l’UE est de 64%), ce qui fait de la France un des pays les moins avancés en Europe dans ce sens, on peut s’interroger sur la présence et l’utilité des réseaux sociaux au sein des entreprises françaises.
Pour nous éclairer, nous avons tendu micro et caméra à deux personnes particulièrement sensibles à ces questions de par leurs vécus et leurs responsabilités professionnelles, il s’agit Martine Giraudy et Solange Peyssard.
M. Giraudy, juriste de formation, est aujourd’hui à la tête de MEG-JIC (conseil en gestion, organisation et NTIC) alors que S. Peyssard est chargée de mission Web chez Help Line. Elles nous donnent deux avis différents sur l’entrée et l’utilisation des réseaux sociaux dans l’entreprise. Mais également sur ce qu’apportent les réseaux sociaux, en tant que valeur ajoutée à l’efficacité des personnes dans l’entreprise.

À propos de la redondance

Le terme redondance est souvent confondu avec disponibilité. Bien que ces concepts soient liés, ils ne sont pas identiques. La redondance fait référence à l’utilisation de plusieurs serveurs dans un environnement à charge équilibrée à des fins diverses, telles que l’amélioration des performances des batteries de serveurs, la montée en puissance parallèle afin d’accueillir des utilisateurs supplémentaires et l’amélioration de la disponibilité.

La disponibilité est un concept plus spécialisé qui fait référence à un environnement multi-serveur conçu pour accepter les connexions et fonctionner normalement même si un ou plusieurs des serveurs de la batterie de serveurs ne sont pas opérationnels. Par conséquent, la disponibilité implique de la redondance, mais également un mécanisme de basculement et plusieurs autres caractéristiques éventuelles. Toutefois, un système redondant ne présente pas nécessairement un haut niveau de disponibilité.

Cet article explique comment implémenter des serveurs redondants dans une batterie de serveurs Office SharePoint Server 2007.

Comment déterminer la configuration matérielle requise pour une batterie de serveurs unique. Il faut identifier les caractéristiques qui auront une incidence sur vos besoins en matière de performances et de capacité et fournit des recommandations pour les éléments suivants :

• nombre d’ordinateurs serveurs dans la batterie de serveurs ;

• configuration des rôles de serveur d’applications dans la batterie de serveurs ;

• configuration matérielle requise pour des rôles de serveur spécifiques dans la batterie de serveurs.

Votre processus de planification de la capacité doit inclure un programme de test pour les caractéristiques spécifiques à votre environnement. The SharePoint 2007 Test Data Population Tool (WSSDW.exe) is a capacity planning and performance testing tool that populates data for testing SharePoint deployments. The SharePoint 2007 Test Data Population Tool is available as a command-line executable program that extracts information about how to populate the server from an XML configuration file, and calls Microsoft .NET assembly: WSSDWLib.dll. Use this tool to populate test data for SharePoint capacity planning. Also included are some sample test scripts that can be used for performance and load testing SharePoint and Excel Services with the test data. Ten Cool Branded SharePoint Global Internet Sites You Can RAVE About!

A while back I thought about creating a list of top 100, but then I saw that Ian Morrish has been doing a good job on his SharePoint Internet Websites list and has actually taken thumbnails to build his own top 100 MOSS Sites list.  Rather than reinvent the wheel I decided to take a cut at sites from amongst his full list and more recent MOSS announcements, like Ferrari and the Cadbury… mmm.  It’s not that we don’t want to keep talking about Hawaiianair.com which by the way is still super cool, we need to have a quick global COOOL list we can refer to.  I tried to provide a sampling across industry, region of the world, and style.

(Note many of these sites have other systems integrated on the backend as well, navigation may take you to pages not served by SharePoint.  At a minimum I have verified MOSS “Pages libraries,” and IIS 6 Headers coming from response to the initial GET Request.)
